Geocaching for schools and families

Geocaching for schools and families

Are you planning  geocaching with your family this summer? If you are a primary teacher, have you taken a group of children for a walk in the vicinity, holding a Satnav/iPhone with children having to spot an interesting architectural /natural feature at the ‘destination’?

Maybe different classes within a school could devise ‘satnav observation trails’ for each other?  I hear that the scouts now have a ‘satnav badge’.  If you’ve tried geocaching at school or with your family, please share your ideas!
